How does the Assure X hybid router work?
The hybid router has a Primary fixed connection and a Secondary cellular data connection. In the event that the Primary connection fails, the Secondary connection takes over. This failover is instant and seamless. Even if you was on an IP phone-call, the call would not drop.
Will my public IP remain the same in the event of a failover?
Yes, the included static public IP address will remain consistant, as it's the same on the Primary and Secondary connection.
Is the router easy to set up?
The router is set up via our Assure X app in a few simple steps. This process take a few minutes to complete. Once complete, all other configuration is managed in the Assure X cloud portal. Accessing your routers remotely via the cloud saves time, effort and costs.
What other features does Assure X offer?
Apart from seamless failover, a public IP address that never changes and full cloud management, you can also drill down by device IP address, how much data your devices are using. You can also see which websites are being visited by the device IP address.
Is there a seperate charge for the SIM rental and data costs?
The data SIM is included in the fixed Primary connection monthly subscription. There are no data costs to worry about either in the event of a Primary connection failure.
